Meet the pack leaders

Lindsay

Lindsay is the owner and pack leader at Wild Pasture Pack. She’s a lifelong lover of the outdoors and of dogs. Before returning to her home state of NH and becoming a dog trainer, she taught English at high schools in CT and VT for 10 years. At the end of a long school day, she CRAVED walks in the woods and quality time with her dog, Bisou. In 2023, she traded in literary lesson plans for training four-legged friends. Lindsay graduated from a 6-week dog camp course and took a canine first aid class before starting her business. Always a student, she has since continued her education and completed a year-long professional dog trainer course.

When Lindsay is not on the trails with the pack, she is either a.) planning her next meal (pizza please!) or b.) snuggling up on the couch with a cup of tea and a good read.

Bisou

Bisou (BEE-zoo) is the 9-year-old chocolate lab who helped Lindsay dream Wild Pasture Pack into being. She grew up hiking the trails of Sleeping Giant State Park in CT and attending Puppy Kindergarten and Family Dog Training classes at Paws ‘N Effect, a positive dog training facility in Hamden, CT. Being the food-motivated/obsessed pup that she is, Bisou LOVES learning in classes, trainings, and on the trail. While Bisou has always been a very good girl, she has been practicing her pack walking and relaxation skills so she feels confident when welcoming new dogs into the pack.

When Bisou is not on the trails, she can be found either a.) following her humans around the house, waiting for crumbs to fall or b.) lounging belly up on the couch, holding a stuffed hedgehog in her mouth.
